Our story

Built in Nanded, for the whole of India.

SFG is a non-profit organisation registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Act 2013 Section 8, working in relation to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

The sports promotion sector operates from Nanded Waghala City in Maharashtra and has spent six years developing sports infrastructure and delivering training and coaching. The conviction behind it is straightforward: talent is distributed evenly across India, but opportunity is not. A child in a tier-2 or tier-3 city should not have to travel to a metro to be coached properly.

So we do the whole chain ourselves — we build the pools, turfs and ranges, we staff them with certified coaches, and we certify the skills students earn on them. Some of our athletes will reach district, state and national competition. Every one of them leaves with discipline, fitness, and the habit of working at something difficult until it becomes easy.

To promote student achievement and preparation for global competitiveness by fostering sports educational excellence and ensuring equal access — using sport to attract and sustain young people, and changing the traditional mindset to Sports Skill for All.

VISION

Pioneers by 2030

By 2030 our organisation should be a pioneer in the field of Sport Skills For All, stimulating the creation of world-class knowledge resources, services and systems, with special attention on developing a collegial team.

AIM

Sport across the grassroots

To spread sports across the grassroots and create an eco-system supporting players, athletes, coaches, managers and support staff — providing high-quality sport skill education to all who seek it, irrespective of age, region or formal qualification.

Safety first, always

A lifeguard on deck, a range officer on the line and first aid on site. No session runs unsupervised.

Measured progress

A written skills ladder per sport, periodic assessment and a progress card you can actually read.

Open to everyone

Separate ladies' batches, beginner-only slots and sibling concessions. Sport should not be a closed door.

Timings we keep

Published schedules, batches that start on time and slots that are not double-booked.

President's message

“The aim of the foundation is to be able to promote sports in India.”

Skill For Glory Sporting Academy was founded by technical educationist Mr. Mohammed Arif, Founder President of All India Technoskills' Organization, Vice President of Zac Computer Technology (India) Private Limited and Managing Director of AP Info Cognizance Private Limited.

“SFG's mission is to be able to promote sports in our nation from the grass root to the elite level. We aim at providing training solutions to players, and opportunities for young people to use as a catalyst for positive youth development and success… utilising existing sports infrastructure as well as building infrastructure to promote sports in all sectors.”

By 2030 the organisation intends to be a pioneer in the field of Sport Skills For All — collaborating with eminent and distinguished institutions, and making its programmes accessible enough that they are accepted as norms and standards by everyone engaged in sport skills across India.
